They are hoping T-Mobile will get the message. While the cell
provider, and some government agencies say the radiation won’t harm

Subject: Verizon Might Soon Let Users Report Network Problems
By Kellen
Verizon went through a major management shakeup in recent weeks as the
company continues to see struggles on the consumer business side of
things and as it tries to catch-up to T-Mobile in 5G. One of the key
role changes happened at the top of Verizon’s network and the newly
promoted exec is already talking about what’s next for wireless
customers.
Joe Russo, who was promoted to the EVP and president of global
networks and technology for Verizon, participated in an “Inside
Verizon” video where he mentioned a couple of changes you might find
useful should they rollout in the near future.

Subject: FCC Seeks Comments on ATIS Waiver Request
The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (“ATIS”) has
been seeking to modify FCC requirements for hearing-aid compatibility.
The following is from an FCC Public Notice:
- - - - - - - -
WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU SEEKS COMMENT ON ATIS WAIVER
REQUEST ON BEHALF OF THE COVERED ENTITIES OF THE HEARING AID
COMPATIBILITY TASK FORCE
The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau seeks comment on a petition for
waiver (Petition) filed by ATIS requesting waiver of section
20.19(b)(1) and (b)(3) of the Commission’s rules for all entities
subject to the hearing aid compatibility rules. The Petition seeks to
allow wireless handsets to satisfy a reduced volume control testing
methodology to be certified as hearing-aid compatible. In particular,
we seek comment on this waiver request in the context of the
Commission’s commitment to attaining 100% hearing aid compatibility of
covered wireless handsets, as soon as achievable, as well as the
Commission’s previous finding that a volume control requirement is
necessary “to ensure the provision of effective telecommunications for
people with hearing loss.”
