Subject: With 63% ownership, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ)
boasts of strong institutional backing
Many institutions measure their performance against an index that
approximates the local market. So they usually pay more attention to
companies that are included in major indices.
Verizon Communications already has institutions on the share
registry. Indeed, they own a respectable stake in the company. This
implies the analysts working for those institutions have looked at the
stock and they like it. But just like anyone else, they could be
wrong. If multiple institutions change their view on a stock at the
same time, you could see the share price drop fast. It's therefore
worth looking at Verizon Communications' earnings history below. Of
course, the future is what really matters.

Subject: How, and why, T-Mobile partnered with AWS for private
wireless
MWC23 – T-Mobile in the US recently announced a teaming with Amazon
Web Services (AWS) to sell its private wireless networking offerings
through AWS' new "Integrated Private Wireless" program.
T-Mobile's Mishka Dehghan, SVP of the operator's strategy, product and
solutions engineering, told Light Reading that the partnership is an
expansion of T-Mobile's previously announced Advanced Network
Solutions (ANS) business division. Here at the MWC Barcelona trade
show, she said enterprise customers shopping for private networking
options through AWS can select T-Mobile as their partner. They can
then build a private wireless network running in the AWS cloud and
using spectrum, products and services from T-Mobile.

Subject: Verizon’s Ed Chan reflects on noise in the C-band
neighborhood
By Monica Alleven
BARCELONA—Despite the headlines and the hassles associated with the
C-band, Ed Chan, SVP and chief technology officer at Verizon, had some
kind words for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
“The FAA worked well with us along the way to kind of understand and
do the testing,” he said on the sidelines of MWC 2023. “It went from a
bit of fear mongering from some in the industry to a facts-based
discussion.”
Chan was referring to the protracted fight between the aviation
industry and the wireless carriers, backed by the FCC, over the
deployment of C-band spectrum for 5G.
