Subject: Apple couldn’t fix it, AT&T couldn’t fix it. One man’s
descent into iPhone torment
Let’s add T-Mobile’s role in this mess. Oh, and Tim Cook’s. You'll be
glad this didn’t happen to you.

You know that moment when your pilot tells you to sit back and relax?
Well, I'm going to suggest you lean forward and tense yourself.
For this is the tale of a man who thought he had a little problem and
then discovered it was far, far larger than he thought.

Subject: How T-Mobile plans to navigate convergence
By Mike Dano
A hot topic in the US telecom industry is convergence. Many believe
it’s inevitable that wireless, fiber and cable providers will become
increasingly intertwined, first through bundled offerings and, later,
through mergers and acquisitions.
During his company’s quarterly conference call Wednesday, T-Mobile CEO
Mike Sievert explained how he’s planning to navigate the situation.
“We're interested in convergence because we have a lot to offer,” he
said.

Subject: CWAers Come Together To Fight Runaway Inequality
What happened to the American working class? Why does the richest
country in history have so many children living in poverty and cannot
afford well funded public services and infrastructure? Why is it so
hard for us to bargain for just about anything while companies are
making record profits?
We kicked off this year’s political education workshop series in
Poughkeepsie, NY on January 17th for a Reversing Runaway Inequality
workshop with members of Local 1120.
