Subject: I don’t want to see 5G on any phone in 2023
By Andy Boxall
I don’t want to see 5G on any phone in 2023. Why? It’s a complete waste
of space, nobody actually uses it, and to the average person on the
street, it means absolutely nothing. Yet, it has been a regular feature
on new phones for years now.

Subject: 3G devices stop working as companies switch off networks:
Here's what you need to know
By Kenneth Wong
PHOENIX - A number of Americans will need to get new smartphones, as
major cell service providers switched off their 3G network, also
referred to on some websites as the 3G sunset.
Here's what you need to know about the switchoff.
Why did cell service providers switch off their 3G networks?
According to officials with the FCC, mobile carriers "periodically shut
down older services, such as 3G, to free up spectrum and infrastructure
to support new services, such as 5G."
