Subject: Amazon Prime could eventually include cheap cell service
By Alex Perry
Maybe someday Amazon Prime will include your rent and health
insurance, too.
Well, probably not, but one recent report indicates that Amazon wants
Prime to intrude on yet another part of your life. According to
Bloomberg, the $140/year subscription (including free shipping,
discounts, and Prime Video, among other things) could eventually
include cheap or free cell phone service. Bloomberg's report said
Amazon is currently in talks with providers like T-Mobile and AT&T,
though those same providers denied the report in statements given to
PCMag.

Subject: The Best Mobile Hotspot Plans For Internet Access Anywhere
By Matthew Lynch
With the increasing demand for internet access on-the-go, mobile
hotspots are becoming increasingly popular. A mobile hotspot device
allows you to connect to the internet wherever you go, as long as
there is cellular network coverage. This makes it an ideal solution
for travelers, remote workers, and anyone who needs internet access
while on the move. But which are the best mobile hotspot plans for
internet access anywhere?
Verizon: Verizon’s unlimited mobile hotspot plan is among the most
affordable plans available. It offers a generous 15GB of high-speed
data per month, after which your speed will be slowed down. However,
the plan is limited to a single device, and it’s not available for 5G
devices.

By PYMNTS
America’s telecom giants say they have no plans to work with Amazon to
offer low-cost wireless to Prime members.
A report Friday (June 2) by Bloomberg News said Amazon was in talks
with Verizon Communications, T-Mobile US and Dish Network on a plan to
offer Prime customers plans for $10 per month, if not for free.
