As part of the shuffle, T-Mobile has promoted John Saw to the role of executive vice president and chief technology officer; he previously served as the executive vice president of advanced and emerging technologies. Ulf Ewaldsson, previously T-Mobile’s chief networking officer, moves up to the role of executive vice president and chief technology officer. The latest "not in my back yard" (NIMBY) dustup started last month in Wyandotte, Michigan when, according to local news reports, T-Mobile obtained the rights to install 5G antennas atop the smokestack of Washington Elementary, near the school's playground. According to the Ouachita Citizen, a notice was sent to employees of Lumen about the possible consolidation of the company’s headquarters.
